Reach out to others

I met her over the summer.
We connected right away.
You know what I mean??
She made me do ridiculous
exercises and movements to
bring back feeling in my arm.
To gain strength that was lost.
She worked out the nerve that
was causing so much
grief in my life.

That pinched nerve....
All part of God's plan.
Of me meeting her.
Her meeting me.
All perfectly designed.

She climbs down on the floor with me.
Both of us laying on blue mats.
Stretching.
Her head turning to me,
Looking for advice.
Our stories where the same.
Mine lived out years ago.
Her living it right now
in the moment.
Over the couple of months we talked.
And when the time came when I no longer needed
physical therapy.
Both of us grateful
for what the other had done.

If you saw me sitting on the
side of the road
my face buried in my hands,
tears streaming.
You'd stop right?

What if I told you I just couldn't run anymore.
What if I told you that
someone tripped me,
just stuck out their foot and
watched me fall.
You would reach out your hand,
and help me to my feet.
Put your arms around me, to help me while
I got my balance,
you'd tell me that someone
tripped you once too.
But that I shouldn't  give up.
Right??

When your hands are reaching out.
When your arms help steady those who are wobbly,
there is no room in your arms
for those
disappointments, hurts and rejections.

 Has God brought someone into
your life to help??
